Modular Cold Rooms

Our modular cold rooms are available in a wide range of dimensions and operating conditions.

A standard chill room (fridge) will be designed to operate at +3°C will have an outward hinged door 85mm insulated walls and ceiling and will sit straight on your floor. This eliminates any steps or ramps.

We offer mono-block and saddle type refrigeration systems for areas where the heat from the system may be dissipated and the user is looking to minimise installation cost.

A standard cold room (freezer) will be designed to refrigerate down to -18°C so additional to the standard walls and ceiling will require an integral floor to will reduce the cooling load on the room.

To provide the active cooling to your room we offer mono-block and saddle type refrigeration systems for areas where the heat from the system may be dissipated and the user is looking to minimise installation cost. These units are pre-charged with refrigerant, only requiring fitting to the room and electrical connections.

For those limited for space or wishing to minimise energy consumption a split refrigeration system is more appropriate. A split refrigeration system will reject the waste heat via an external condenser installed outside the building. There is a requirement for pipework to be installed. As you are not restricted to where the equipment is fitted the finished system can be tailored to your requirements. Evaporators for split systems may be positioned in the most convenient position for your needs. In addition the refrigeration system will be more efficient as the condenser is outside in the fresh air and it will not contribute further heat to often already hot food preparation areas.
